Where do I aim?
A clean kill is the whole job. The right aim point changes with the animal's angle and whether you're shooting a firearm or a bow - and sometimes the most skilled, ethical move is to pass and wait. Pick the situation for a straight answer.
โ ๏ธ When in doubt, don't. A passed shot costs you an animal; a bad one wounds it. Know your effective range, wait for the vitals to be open, and take only the shot you're sure of. The vitals - heart and lungs - sit low and just behind the shoulder; that's the target on every clean shot.
